Mahindra Reva Electric Vehicles Pvt. Ltd. inaugurated its first platinum rated automobile manufacturing facility in Bangalore.

Mahindra expects to start the sales of Reva by Diwali this year.
 
Mahindra is committed to mitigating climate change by producing non-polluting mobility solutions for the future.
 
The facility follows rigid green guidelines right from re-use of construction waste to utilization of solar energy for ongoing car manufacturing process.
 
Every REVA car built in the new plant will be Born Green, possessing one of the lowest “dust to dirt” (a term denoting a vehicle’s entire lifecycle) carbon footprints of any car in mass production. 
 
The Mahindra Reva’s new plant has been developed around the 5 elements of nature - Air, Space, Energy, Water and Earth.
 
Entire factory premises is declared as a ‘No Smoking’ zone.
 
Ample use of natural light 100% use of LED lights are some of the features that are really commendale.
 
The plant itself is made of highly recyclable content and locally available materials.
