Suicide suspected at dubai


The dead body found outside the Gloria Hotel in Dubai Internet City on Tuesday morning is of a man who committed suicide, UAE daily 7Days reported.
The man, believed to be of Kenyan and Somali dual nationality, threw himself from the eighth floor of the building on Monday.
Police rushed to the scene after the body of the unidentified male was discovered.
“We received a call on Tuesday morning about a dead body in a hotel in Internet City in Dubai," an official from Bur Dubai Police station told 7Days.

"We rushed to the scene and started [sic] the investigation," he added.

The surrounding area was cordoned off as the body was taken away in an ambulance.

While the cause of death is unknown, the official told 7days it appears to be suicide.
