Hubby dead, Singer Nithyasree too tries to commit suicide Chennai, Dec 20: Well-known playback singer Nithyasree Mahadevan tried to commit suicide following the news of her husband's death in Chennai on Thursday, Dec 20 According to sources, Nithyasree consumed poison when she was informed that her husband died in a hospital in the city. Views on Bal Thackeray, known as Balasaheb, were as polarised as the politics he practiced.
