Pranab Mukherjee’s Rs. 6 crore Mercedes S 600 Pullman

Having elected to the Presidential post, Pranab Mukherjee will now change his mode of transport-from his favourite bullet-proof Ambassador to the posh Mercedes Benz S600L 'Pullman' limousine.The cost of the car is estimated to be around Rs 6 crore



The President of India travels in a black Mercedes Benz S600 (W221) Pullman Guard. It's a custom-built, heavily armored limousine which meets the requirements of the highest protection class VR6/VR7



The ‘Pullman’ made it to the Rashtrapati Bhavan during the tenure of Pratibha Patil and has a host of dynamic features which are essential for the secure travel of a top dignitary.

Former Minister and senior DMK leader Veerapandi S Arumugam passed away at a hospital in Chennai today. Arumugam was hospitalised some days ago due to breathing difficulties.
